Right now, I think Steve Bruces mind is more on can he trust his keeper? Do I need to dabble in the market for someone who can walk straight into the Team and the lads to be confident in his abilities

In other interesting odds, Andre Gray is third favourite to be the highest goal scorer in the Championship this season at 12/1 (joint with Jordan Rhodes), with only Chris Martin 10/1 and Benik Afobe 8/1 ahead of him.

I've already chucked a multi on Gray and Aguero top scoring their respective leagues. Paying $60. Not sure how to expressed that in your odds, but I've chucked $10 on it so I'll get $600.

Privately if he's still 'considering' whether we need a new keeper, or not, then his head's completely ****ed!. He's not gonna say to the media that both McGregor and Jak are ****s but he's GOT to to be thinking that, I fully expect a new keeper in at some point in the very near future.

Surely now that we know we can lay down 8m and get Gray guaranteed, that Brentford won't dick us around and shift the goal posts, we hijack the bid and get him here?

He could do worse than try and get Richard Wright from Man City, he not getting a game and would get automatic respect from the Team

Very funny seeing some people who want the owners to leave now calling them for not spending there money

It's their choice, but if they didn't plan on spending, it would have been a good idea not to claim they were to justify the season ticket price increases...

JS: Did you anticipate reducing the costs of season tickets because of relegation?

EA: The pricing is based on the club's aspirations and that's all I can say.

Our owners can't win

They have to draw a line somewhere and I still maintain they expected a striker out the door when they started these negotiations.
Can't get stuck with more wages on top of what we have.

And no one seems to have added the lad still has to agree terms.
We could bid 15 million and then offer him peanuts knowing the whole thing was a waste of time.

Still room for all sorts to happen but I can't see us stepping in until we shift one. Which may be too late?

They have had a striker out the door N'Doye. They've also had sizeable fees in for Chester, Brady and Ince. That's before taking into account the wages saved on the umpteen players released.

The club is supposed to be mounting a challenge to get back to the PL? To accomplish that we need proven players for this league. Not players we're stuck with due to ridiculous gambles (Hernandez). The club actually does need to get back into the PL to service the loan our 'generous' benefactor has straddled us with. That's aside from the embarrassment of the name change fiasco.

Really don't understand why we didn't keep Harper and Rosenior. Rosey would have been cheaper to keep than Odubajo was to sign, Harper would have been cheaper to keep than a new keeper would be to sign, and both would have been more than enough for us.

You say we need to get back to the prem to service the loan why?,maybe Allam now has other plans and as for being straddled with the loan where would we have been without it?.

Maybe if he was not treated like a **** he might have been more forthcoming.

They wouldn't still be taking bets if it was anything other than a rumour.
I'm less concerned with incomings until we have a clearer understanding of outgoings.
No point in bringing Gray if no real takers for Jelly or Abel

Correct. It seems strange Victor Chandler are offering generous odds of 4/6 on Gray moving to Bristol City when it appears the deal is nearly over the line. Perhaps agreeing personal terms is an issue.
