Signing Alonso would be an absolute no brainer for me, we already know he can do the job, the relationship is already there with the fans and the club and I believe he can play CB too so would be vital cover. I haven't seen him at CB but I reckon he'd be pretty good.

I agree with a lot of what he says but that £50m bit has to be pure guesswork. If he knew, we all would.
I agree we were rubbish - but what do you class as "recent memory" as I remember capitulation against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa last season that were both at least as bad as Saturday! Does he not remember those games?

The flag was there anyway as you quoted my post (as obviously this will). I assume it will hoy a flag up to draw attention without quoting a post?
