My first thought too mate. We have signed M'Vila to cover that position so unfortunately we need our creative midfielder and forward in first and foremost, I would have another centre half in as well before a DM.
I loved Cana. He was a crazy bastard but a proper footballer. I'm not sure he'd be a priority though. I think a creative mid and a CB first. Then possibly a winger and a full back.

I don't think Cana would be on daft wages tbh. It's pretty well documented that wages in Italy are lower than the average Premier League wage so I think we'd be able to afford him. Do I think we'll see him back? No. Do I think we need him back? No. Would I like him back? Yes. He might show some of the others what giving 100% looks like.

I follow him on Twitter and he often tweets about us. I think he really enjoyed his time here. I was disappointed when we didn't sign him so for £2/3m I reckon that's a steal. Some competition for PVA is desperately needed as he's been woeful by all accounts so far this season. Would rather Alonso any day of the week.
