Interesting... McCormack desperate for Gray to stay... Brentford’s Alan McCormack has said he is desperate for Andre Gray to stay at the club. The striker is being tracked by West Ham United and Hull City with the Tigers already having three bids rejected. West Ham are currently deciding whether to sign Gray or QPR striker Charlie Austin. But with Gray being a key player for the Bees, McCormack wants him to stay so him and the club can improve together. Worried about Gray’s potential departure, McCormack told GetWestLondon: “He’s a talent and an unfinished talent. We’ve only cracked the surface with him.” “The difference between last pre-season and this pre-season is unbelievable. He’s strong, quick and has an eye for a goal. I hope he doesn’t move any time soon.” “Hull have a Premier League setup. Mo said the difference is unbelievable. He’s standing beside Tom Huddlestone and co. That’s the difference. “We feel we can be better than Hull. If Andre goes there, he goes there. If he stays, we’re delighted.” “I think, with the amount of years, he can make it at international. We’ve seen it with Dave Nugent, Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana. When we see Andre perform week in week out in the Premier League, he’ll get a taster.” http://the92.com/championship/mccormack-desperate-for-gray-to-stay/
No relegation clauses by all accounts. Then again i dont think they had many if any on big wonga. You have finally found something you can manage then eh ? ^^^^ this.
Agreed. Why dont City just put the players back onto there PL money who have these clauses (who we want to keep) and that way the buy outs are removed. Take the cost from the transfer kitty we have atm.
Agreed. I wonder if Chester is already regretting jumping ship too soon ? As for the others other than UnAbel and Jelly do the others actually want to leave even if the buy outs are met ? If they all stick together we can walk this league with the right additions and with the return of Snodgrass - Diame and Livermore at some point.
To be fair, if Gareth McAuley is getting in a Premier League team ahead of you, there's something definitely wrong.
Transfer News @FootieWriter City to improve on their £43m offer for Wolfsburg's Kevin de Bruyne. (Source - Sky Sports) Looks like Hattie was right...
Christ £43m? He left Chelsea for £18m 18 months ago. That's some profit in 18 months whatever the kick back that Chelsea are due.
Nail on the ****ing head He's underachieved and is grasping at the last straw labelled "best passer" but the fact is he's only still here because of his reputation and the concern that Bruce can't find a better replacement.
Not being biased and it's still early days but I feel we're far more likely to go up than Brentford this Season.
You would think/say that. However, Wba is not the club Chester should have been looking to go to. He could have done much better. twt as to what happens.
Chester's 4th choice at the moment behind Dawson, Olsson and Macauley. Pulis played him at RB against Man City. A right back he aint.
Pulis liked to play with 4 centre backs across the defence at Stoke, I wonder if that is his plan at the Baggies
Transfer News @Transfer_News_9 Hull City have agreed a undisclosed fee for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle. I don't know this account and they don't have many followers, so it's probably bollocks.
Sorry, but that's just bollocks. He was ****e last season, he wasn't that goo the season before and he is average at best this season, so far. As for carrying Livermore, what a joke; I can remember the endless posts on here for Bruce to keep Livermore and drop Hudds - Livermore's bad rep came at season end (almost) with the drug revelation, before that it was generally accepted he was the only CMF earning his salt.
