I'd be trying to loan Peter Crouch if possible. I'd read another Championship club are looking at a loan for him, think it was Boro or Derby.

 

Boro I think. Not sure he'd want to leave Stoke though? Closing in on 100 PL goals.

 

Boro have had a bid accepted for Nugent from Leicester.

 

I had a look around and couldn't find anything concrete either.

I suspect with Bruce admitting release clauses in contracts at the weekend the rumour mill will intensify.

they are all good players but it depends on what's in the head
that's why Macca, Quinny & Rosie wouldn't be a doubt as per the effort they'd give at this level

Surely if the player wants to piss off they'd try their hardest so clubs actually want to buy them.

 

I think enough is already known about these players for other teams to justify taking them on.

 

Not someone like Jela who has come off a season of knee injuries.

There isn't anything in the media at the moment, they contacted the club again last week. Villa know the release clause figure and are prepared to pay it. They are playing the waiting game with his injury and as nobody else has come in for him to date they can wait to see how his injury progresses. BUT expect this to happen if he looks to be on the road to recovery.

He must be on around 50k p/w at least.

As he has value in him, I can't imagine Stoke subsidising a move - they wouldn't have to.

With their ('Boro & DC) signings so far, how on earth are they in the running for such players and still meeting FFP rules?
