Couple of thoughts:
I would expect that Jelavic will leave if his medical goes well. N'Doye is gone as far as I can see.
Abel could well stay as the teams linked to him are skint; in truth I think he is the best one to stay anyway.
Hudds will probably go and I will not lose sleep.
The key is in Bruce being ready with his replacement business.
Keeping the window open beyond the first kick-off is simply ****e for all concerned.
Defo, the transfer window need to be shut 48 hours before the start of a new season

Scunthorpe United have signed young Hull City goalkeeper Rory Watson on a one-month loan as cover for suspended Luke Daniels.

That's a good move for him, being in and around a first team will help is development no end. I know he trained with our first team and made the bench, but I dont see him making any appearances this season.

By my count that now leaves us with two goalkeepers, could do with another one really.

I assume whoever played for the U18's will now have to get their arse down to Tooting as cover for the U21's keeper.

Agreed about Watson, he's highly rated and he could do with some game time, though he's only been brought in as cover and might well not actually see any action.

Doesn't help that the season here starts 2-3 weeks (3 in this season's case) before the window closes.

I've not checked but I'd imagine the southern European countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy, etc) won't start playing league games until after it shuts.

Think Erik Bukran is still with the development squad so I assume he will go between the sticks tonight. He's actually quite good, Pennock rates him.

Been said before and will be said again, but the transfer window situation is ridiculous.

The window should close before the beginning of the season and any manager that realises they still need players after that point is an idiot. To an extent I could just about deal with the window closing a week after the first game of the season just in case of those freak injuries come in.

It isn't fair on us when we get picked over by a Premier League club and it isn't fair on the club we have to pick over for a replacement.

I am sure Sky have way too much influence on this.

We have the loan window though, whereas Premier League clubs don't. So there's only really mid November to new years day that we can't sign anybody.

The last bid we had rejected was £6.5m, with £2m in add-on's.

£7m deal says to me the deal is worth £7m, with £2m in addons.

That's still a lot, I maybe wrong. £7m potentially rising to £9m is quite frankly ****ing ridiculous IMO. This chap was farting about in the conference the season before last and has had one good season in the professional leagues. That money could easily buy someone capable enough with plenty to spare to fill another big hole in the squad, in particular a number 10.

I'm sure it's £7m + add-on's.
