Great, isn't it? The bowlers really got into the Aussies. Good bowling, good wickets, good to see. Then we batted! Christ, Lyth obviously doesn't like the new ball!! Whats he doing opening then? Cook and Bell didn't add much and 3-133 isn't a winning score. Still, hope spring eternal, eh?

Chips, I'd get that throat looked at if I were you.

A decent 1st innings score for us will have this in the bag which we'll need batting last, anything over 350 will suffice. <ok>

Calm down! If I had meant you I would have said Nigel no knob.... I meant that other "expert".

<doh>

I wasn't right about the second test or holding fire on the convicts was I, only been following test cricket as long as I can remember! <doh>

It's 2-1 Norman but Jimmy is most likely out for the series and will be if it's confirmed a intercostal injury, that's 6-8 weeks and hurts like **** if you cough or even sneeze. Nothing you can do with rib injuries apart from simply letting them heal naturally as wrapping them does nothing which I know from experience. <ok>

Aussies will come back as has been the trend in this series which keeps on swinging from one side to another, they only need a drawn series to retain the urn and won't go down without fight once they've digested this shambles. We won't win the series 4-1 and you can bookmarked that, no doubt you will. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Put your money where your mouth is if your so confident, you'll probably still get a decent price although not until this test is finished and the books revised. <ok>

I have 4-1 at 33/1
and 3/2 at 14/1

Once we wrap this up today i will place a covering bet on the aussies to win 3/2 at a probable 8/1

Looking good at present. Cook gone, again, Bell batting well and Lyth, avoiding the new ball and enjoying the sun.

I've just thought, thats three days in a row you've had sun. Some kind of record?

And as for your comment about Nigel No Knob, Mr Chips, you obviously haven't seen me in the shower. :1980_boogie_down:

Lyth must have reviewed out of desperation to get some form given that every part of the lbw decision against him was plum. <doh>

Still I'm not complaining as I've got an apple core at 4's on Hazelwood to be top convict wicket taker. :grin:

Just seen the scorecard...

This aussie bloke Extras top scored with 14.
They need to move him higher up the order. i wonderif he can bowl? <party>
