Just watching the first test on TV. England are playing their usual ****e brand of cricket. 1-7, now 3-61. F**king brilliant! <steam><steam>

Mitchell Johnson is back to being ****e again.... England will set the convicts 400 and will win by 209+ runs.

Is he bollocks, the pudding pitch simply hasn't suited his bowling. He'll be better on other pitches that assist his bowling.

Slow pitches always negate pace bowling.

Well, if it's your totally unbiased rules, then why bother with nominations? Just give it to him now <laugh>

True but we haven't started yet Kev. <laugh>

Won't have room for only nominating the northerners for typos with their northern English, only got 15 voting spaces! <whistle>

Would love to agree with you, Chips, but knowing England and their record, they will just as likely collapse in a screaming heap in the second innings. Remember, this is NOT a one dayer or beach cricket, consistency is important over five days.

That's exactly why the convicts will win the ashes, because they'll be the stronger team over 5 tests. <ok>

First test has draw written all over it now, especially with heavy rain predicted for Sunday. <ok>

Just been reading the BBC web site and see that the underground and trains are having a few days off. Is that so that you can watch the tests, Stevo? Pity about the rain, it'll spoil it for you. <laugh><laugh>
