For 3.5m? That doesn't fund a 12m bid for Rhodes and a 5m purchase of Downing.

No ****, but there is a little thing called FFP now, and considering their spend in previous years, I thought it an obvious question to ask where their money had come from all of a sudden. No need to be so patronising.

It's a good job I am patient awaiting for official news on our signings, but I really don't have the time to read reams of waffle disguised as banter. Hurry up Saturday!

To be fair Maloney would be a very good signing.

I'm not sure using the wrong word makes it a grammatical error.

Comiediens that existed even before 'funny' panel shows....and colour TV
But you knew that, unless you're a young whippersnapper or an uncultured oik

For what it's worth I never found them that funny but I remember the line as my Dad used to quote it frequently, which means by default I do as well

"I resemble that remark" is a quite a common line used by unfunny uncle knob head type middle aged blokes. So while it's incredibly **** and unfunny it's not uncommon.

Which would be a spelling mistake.

No, it's a grammatical error as it is wrongly using certain words over the correct ones.

It's mixing up words. One shows possession, one doesn't. Using the wrong one makes the sentence nonsensical.

A spelling mistake is still a grammatical error, as anything to do with words is grammar based.
