I concurYou don't think Lambert would be better than Graham or Fletcher as a lone striker? Or, when a game dictates, as a partner for Defoe?
I do.

I do.
Plenty say they do but at 18/1 it's worth a daft fiver. It's funny how many people do though mate.
Betting patterns are always a good place to look, I have a mate who works at Will Hills HQ and he sees big money moving before most transfers nowadays. At 18/1 I would guess that there's nowt imminent, but looking at the logic (not taking formation into account) I can't see why the transfer couldn't materialise at some point.
Mate, it's nearly that good without Austin going to Sunderland, how you managed that deal I'll never know.
People being vague about ITK's on here, reeks of Twitter, just ****ing spit it out, who said Austin's signing for you lot? If it's credible I'm putting money on it.
Good deal if you do it though.
Problem is people who genuinely have in the know knowledge respect their sources so tend not to even hint, those making it up know this and can use it to make vague aspersions. I've had three pieces of itk information this close season. Two were spot on and one was wrong. The Coates signing date and the away strip design(got that correct right down to the shape of the neck) was correct. The one that was wrong was that Catts wanted out(though it could have been good intel, a good contract offer may have swayed him or there was a lack of interest from a big club him for all I know, doesn't matter now as it was wrong, how could I believe any of his reasoning?) The two I got right came from two different sources inside the media(that's all I can give away), the one that was wrong came from somebody from Yarm who claimed to know his family personally.
The only way itk comments can be trusted is in hindsight or from a proven track record. I certainly wouldn't risk money on it. If there were any markets on my intel I wouldn't have put money on it off my word as I'm unproven with no track record.
But fact is our club is very private, my itk from the media was hardly headline info. I don't believe for a second these people got the got the Austin information from our side of the 'transfer' if it is true it has to have come from QPR. Just my opinion like.
It makes no odds mate, whether you choose to protect them or not, if this 'ITK' stuff is even close to true, there'd be a wall of bets coming in, there isn't.
Like I said, the logic is there so it's worth a cheeky tenner and Billy agrees, because the odds are good, but a big transfer like this with a specific date of Wednesday... no way would he still be out at 18's. If the lad wants to PM me the info as to where this come from, if I believe it then I'll lay £500 and split the winnings down the middle with you, with my word that your info will remain confidential.
I think the betting markets on transfers are too easily manipulated to trust. I won't touch them but that's just me.
They are mate, completely, especially with Sky calling the shots on transfers, they're sitting on a gold mine for at least 3 or 4 years until people stop buying their 'Sky sources' bullshit. I can't imagine how much they made from their Gundogan to United done deal bullshit a few months ago.
I wouldn't trust a transfer to be happening just by looking at odds, even suspended betting, but it's the first place I'd go to confirm a rumour of a big transfer. Odds fall fast with reliable info.
Back on topic though, you've got to be happy with this deal. I think a good Striker like Austin would be a real statement of intent. Finish the shopping off with a loan, Markovic from Liverpool, Advocaat has experience working with him, seems plausible with Liverpool's current crop of 'stars'.
I think Sky is a big problem, being a media outlet and a bookie is a massive conflict of interest that boarders on unethical imo, the ability to manipulate odds through their own news releases should not be allowed to happen. They push transfer betting markets more than any other bookie. Hmm, I wonder why?
Great deal. Though a creator is still the bigger priority for me like, We've got two excellent finishers even if I don't rate Fletch, but nobody capable of adding a creative threat down the middle.
It is unethical mate, it will only be so long before it comes under intense scrutiny and a new law is needed over here. 5 years ago, Sky Sports were the go-to people for confirmed deals, now they run every rag's rumours through their website with click bait betting available on almost every article.
Transfer bets are tiny markets for bookies though, few hundred could shift from 18's to evens.
I bet with 365. Love the site set out, the free streeming, the accumulator odds boost and they're not hand feeding me the latest agent bullshit that was passed on to the daily star and republished on their own website with click bait.
I'll never give sky a penny of my own money as long as I live.

The quality through a stream on a computer and an android box compared to getting it beamed in through a satellite is night and day.Cant understand anybody paying for sky when you can get everything free right here.

I love my Sky TV, one thing I'm happy to pay for monthly.
