He had 18 in 2 (3rd tier and 11 in championship by that age definitely. But you're right numbers wise - no idea where I got my stats from as I can;t find the page any moe but my bad - still looked to me like he was here for a payday last season though!

 

IMO - Whickham's strength, physicality, close control and prescence - worthy characteristics needed by a centre forward will be positively utilised by Pardew and Palace - I fear they will see the benefits (we expected ) and of the experiences (many bad) here where he was under used in his formative early pro footballing career -wasted by Bruce et al - still not match fit last year (my opinion mind).
This is whats so frustrating with us - wasted opportunities & potentials - over the years many others have come, failed expecttions, and gone onto better things or remained and not recognised internationally -still just KTF and Expect The Unexpected
