Anyone else see the irony in the fact that seems to be our ex-Championship players that seem to be in most demand, rather than our more recent Premier League buys? Brady, Chester, Elmo all apparently coveted by the Premier League, whilst Quinn, Rosenior and McShane didn't seem to have any problems getting fixed up either. Chuck in Aluko and Meyler and that is basically the backbone of the side that got us promoted. On the other hand, Davies, Huddlestone, Jelavic, Hernandez, McGregor and N'Doye, who, along with Diame and Snodgrass, were supposed to take us to the next level, are still here desperately thumbing lifts out of the joint

if Elmo goes along with Brady its a shame because that would be a lot of pace gone out of the team. I was listening on the radio tonight to a someone who has watched clucas regulary and he thinks he is about at his level in the championship, he said he as a good engine on him so sounds ok. Only 12 days to kick off and if these want a way forwards are going to go then lets hope its soon because replacements are going to be needed quickly and this is the area which could make or break our season
