Or maybe the daily phone calls Bruce has with the owners has indicated that he will be supported with transfers.
Steve Parish the Palace chairman was on Talksport the other night and he stated that they were close to another player joining but did not elaborate further details of who this was. I hope we don't lose Chester as he is easily on of our best ever signings but he does belong in the premier league so would go with my thanks and apprecation
Sounds like Bruce just keeping the pressure on. Interesting tactic, the Allams won't like being held to ransom, but they obviously value him more than they valued Barmby or Pearson.
Former Newcastle United midfielder Ryan Taylor is training with Hull City. Oddschanger @Oddschanger Hull are the new 4/6 FAVOURITES from 8/1 to sign free-agent Ryan Taylor.
No surprise. If kept fit, he'd be alright at this level. He hasn't got too bad delivery of a ball on set pieces either.
cant make my mind up about this one, didn't he play at the back for Newcastle, seems like he's here to replace someone.
As Amber said, probably to replace Rosie. Albeit, I would rather have kept Rosie, its a cost saving exercise I guess, with his injuries, Taylor probably comes very cheap.
He can play RB, CB or midfield and he's a hell of a set piece taker. Would be a decent option to have in the squad.
Worrying that Bruce keeps on relying on his former management of players to bolster a club/team. When was Ryan last listening to Steve -2007 at Wigan. Thats a long time ago 8 years adrift & Ryan has sure moved on since then. talking to ghosts past - Palacios/Taylor. Both good players thou....
Decent signing if he can stay fit. Are we trying to rival days of old by signing people that will keep the medics busy!
I hope that's not the case, Chezzy wouldn't be that impressed by it either. He's outstandingly one of our best centre backs, and I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't be overjoyed at the thought of filling in for a missing Rosie all season
