Norwich up bid to £6 million for Hull's Robbie Brady

HITC Sport understands Norwich City have made a new improved offer of £6 million for Hull City star Robbie Brady.

HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Norwich City have tabled a fifth bid for Hull City 's Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady.

Norwich have already seen four bids for Brady turned down with Canaries manager Alex Neil keen to bring the versatile left-sider to Carrow Road as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Steve Bruce is refusing to allow the Brady to leave the club on the cheap, despite Hull's relegation from the Premier League and is thought to be holding out for £8million for the 23-year-old.

Brady started his career at Manchester United, but he joined Hull on a permanent basis after two successful loan spells at the KC Stadium.

Brady made 34 appearances for Hull last season and he is a regular in Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland side now.

Norwich have so far added only midfielders Youssouf Mulumbu and Graham Dorrans, whose loan move was made permanent, to their squad for next season and Neill is keen to finally agree a deal to bring Brady to the club hoping their fifth bid will persuade Hull to cash in on the player.

HITC aren't a great source, but it would hardly be a surprise if this turns out to be true.

3.5M is good money for N'Doye. Whatever it was we paid (I don't know the exact figure) but if we can recoup that then we've done well. Anything more is a bonus. Scored a few goals but is hardly a world beater and he is 30.

As for Palacios, i'm surprised we're going near someone who's barely played a game in two years. He probably weighs more than Brucey now.

I'd rather keep N'Doy. He got 5 goals in 15 games in the Prem. How many do you think he could get in the Championship with 46 games, and where can you find a quality striker any where in the world for 3.5 Mill
