We can barely manage a 4-4-2 with the players available at the moment...

Keepers
McGregor
Jakupovic
Watson

Defence
Lenihan
Chester
Maguire
Dawson
Davies
Bruce
Robertson
Townsend

Midfield
Elmo
Brady
Huddlestone
Diame
Snodgrass
Meyler

Strikers
Aluko
Jelavic
N'Doye
Hernandez
Jahraldo-Martin

Defence isn't really an issue, Strikers wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact they're almost all expected to leave and most of the central midfield are currently injured(the list obviously include all the young lads who may, or may not, figure in Bruce's plans).
Is Jahraldo-Martin a striker?

Seems like we can manage an 8-6-5 at the moment with that squad. 22 one for each position with the odd rush goalie.

We will lose the three strikers, Chester, Robertson, Elmo, Dawson, huddlestone at the last minute on deadline day and we will not have enough time to get replacements. Add Brady to that list if he hasn't gone by then. Our current strategy of not buying until we shift the three strikers is going to leave us exposed. We could well end up like wigan this season.

How is it that Baxter has his punishment yet was caught after Livermore? Is there something behind the scenes we are not being made aware of?

BBC

Sheffield United midfielder Jose Baxter has been given a five-month ban for a failed drugs test - but will be able to play at the start of the season.

Baxter was suspended by the club in May after he failed an out-of-competition test, but denied any wrongdoing.

The 23-year-old was found guilty at a Football Association personal hearing.

However the remaining three months of the ban have been suspended for two years so he is available for the Blades' first league game on 8 August.

BBC Radio Sheffield reports that at the hearing last week, Baxter denied any intentional wrongdoing, adding the traces of ecstasy found in his system were as a result of his drink being spiked.

Livermore failed a match day drug test, Baxter failed an out of competition drug test.

We need to get Chester, Elmo and Brady to sign new deals. This, for me, is as important as any signing this season.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that palacios appears to have no legs. I know our medical team may not have the best track record with footballers but this just takes the piss

Get rid. He wants out. Money grabbing ****. He'll do well for them, get relegated and agitate for another move.

Not quite sure what went wrong with Curtis. From hero to zero and not even getting a place on the bench.

More to all this than meets the eye. I will SMS our kid to see what the sp is.

<laugh> The our kid thing again, it gets me every time. It's hilarious man, really funny stuff...
