That was actually my point.

 

Unfortunately we wont be playing Swansea in the League this coming season, but it is better that we'll play Cardiff rather than Newport or Wrexham in a League match.

 

Most Welsh players don't play in it or even start off in it. Belgian players all come through there academy system.

 

Did Hazard come through the academy of a second division side?

 

Yea, A.F.C. Tubize they are a 2nd division Belgian side. He left their academy at the age of 14 and signed with a first division side but from 11 to 13 he was in a 2nd division Belgian side.

 

Pretty sure there are MLS teams after him to, unless I have mixed him up with someone else.

So he didn't play in their senior side, which answers my point that the quality of Belgium's team has nothing to do with the standard of the Second Division.

No it doesn't answer any question. He developed his skills through the Belgian football system, had he not done that then he wouldn't be playing for a top club in Europe. You're making it up as you go along, is it hot in Sydney? I'd get back in the shade if I were you.

You clearly haven't read the link I sent you on how the football structure works in Belgium. I suggest you do, as it will make you realise you've wasted a lot of time writing ****e.

 

Christ almighty. The discussion started because FC scored a bunch of goals in the second division in Belgium, and someone said that was impressive because Belgium have a good senior side. FC is English, was playing at a club that was not competing against players in the Belgium national team, and ended up coming to a Championship side who had never been in the PL. This stuff really isn't that hard.

All the homegrown players work there way through the Belgian league system. Is the league system good in Belgium? The league responsible for developing these International players is ranked 2nd in the world, from a population of 10.5m. Pretty ****ing good I would say. Wales? Well most of their players can thank the English league pyramid for their development. It's not difficult, really it isn't.
