It seems we're definitely after Andre Gray, but can't make a move until we shift one or two of our existing strikers...

I can understand the striker situation delaying things, but the article claims we're also after Whittingham, yet we've not even made contact yet. Midfield signings can't be based on outgoings, we've barely got any left.
And Brady's back up to £9m.![]()
Talk about sending out mixed messages!! After relegation we are told no panic, all players have relegation clauses in their contracts so we don't need to sell anyone if we choose to. That said clearly we have some players who want to move on, or we would prefer to move on; but to state we need to clear one of three forwards out before we try and get Andre Gray on-board is in my view contradictory, particularly when we have supposedly just bagged the best part of £5m upfront for Ince. Surely its more important to get him on-board and get him settled ASAP irrespective?
Secondly what the hell is going on with Brady? If Norwich bid say £2m, and are told we want £9m, why are they coming back with say £2.5 and £3m offers? Clearly Ehab hasn't set out our demands clearly enough if Norwich feel inclined that £3m might get the player? Get your act together man!
Norwich did well to get straight back up, they sold one first team player only, Snoddy. Stability is the key and here we are at face value turmoil. The fact 12 months ago we padded out the squad for the Europa League, League Cup and FA Cup and then didn't progress just further undermines the playing opportunities leading to us losing some good Championship players.
Finally how can one club have some many younger players with values that are likely to increase entering the final year of their contracts? If they all walk out the door in 12 months we would lose a small fortune in transfer fee's.
Right now I've got that off my chest, back to work!
