The local paper down there running a pole on regards him going at the moment 66% wont not be unhappy if he left, but like you said it could be them being pissed off with him.

Fulham, Cardiff, Forest, Wigan, Norwich & Boro all spent more than that last summer. Considering we're probably going to need 8/9 new players, £5 million isn't a great deal.
It really isn't, it's one really good striker, or two half decent one's. If we're losing all our strikers, along with Livermore, Ince and Quinn, we'll either need to spend more than £5m or do a lot of really good loan deals.
Diame may not be fit during the current transfer window and therefore there is a chance he will be available to play for us between Sept and Jan. Half a season with someone of his quality would be a bonus for us even though he will probably move on in January.
In a 3-5-2 there's really no place for Whittingham, as him and Snodgrass as 2 of the midfield 3 would leave us exposed. Good player mind, like a left-footed Koren.
