Signing Cabaye, Clasie and Toby sounds more like bankruptsy to me?If we signed Cabaye and Clasie, and kept hold of Toby, **** me we would have a good chance of breaking into the top four.
Don't worry...Liverpool will always keep us from going under. Once a player has a Southampton seal of approval, Liverpool will pay over the odds for them. Fantastic business plan.Signing Cabaye, Clasie and Toby sounds more like bankruptsy to me?

If someone else makes a signing, and we don't immediately after, I'm all:

As a down payment I assume....they are buying him one leg at a time.Arsenal fan at work believes they will bid £22m for Morgan .
And that financial year did not include player sales of circa £90M last season. We are in fact rudely solvent. Also, I'd imagine we are going to spend more than we receive on transfers this summer, aswell as potentially increasing the wage bill. Doesn't neccassaeily mean bankruptcy haha. We made a profit of what, £30/40m last financial year? Some of that is due to be invested.
Not that bankruptcy did us much harm last time...

Good job you aren't the one who has to pay for the players then...Signing Cabaye, Clasie and Toby sounds more like bankruptsy to me?
Add nominal sums for Ramerez and Danni (removing large wages from our accounts more importantly) and we can obviously afford the suggested players without breaking the bankGood job you aren't the one who has to pay for the players then...
Come on Saints sell Clyne and Morgan for £40m.
Prem money helps as well.Add nominal sums for Ramerez and Danni (removing large wages from our accounts more importantly) and we can obviously afford the suggested players without breaking the bank

It would probably get smaller.I don't even think our wage bill would differ that greatly if we signed said players. Ramirez, Osvaldo, MS, Clyne and Mayuka will clear up a lot of wages between them and our over all budget will have increased from last season, where we made a very healthy profit.
