What's that got to do with it? We - well you - were suggesting he has an apparent failure with strikers. Ok then, Zaki - a signing who nobody over here had heard of who did incredibly and then Bruce wasnt sacked.
It was a general response in regard to signing English players over our now multiple attempts at signing foreign players that don't 'get' the English game, fail and we end up losing out significantly. Any profit made on Long will now be in a negative by the time we have off loaded Hernandez. The poster could have used any English based players we could have signed last season - ALF, Deeney, Rhodes. Not signing Austin was not the fault of Bruce - but as a club, as previously stated our medical department must be the worst in the country. We rush players back from injury only to see them spend longer on the sidelines or in rehabilitation. We sign crocks, or players with suspicious injury problems (Diame etc) then we don't sign a player on medical grounds that goes on to have a prolific time earns an England cap and is now probably worth triple what we could have signed him for. The blame for these misgivings for me lies squarely with whoever conducts our medicals and runs our rehabilitation. If I was at the helm I'd be having a clear out in that area most definitely.
Didn't he do incredibly for a whopping 5 games (approximately) before turning into a pile of steaming dog plop?
He scored 10 goals in his first 16 Premier League games at Wigan(2 against us), before he went all dog plop.
Wow. So much hissy fitting has been going on over the last few hours,, re.Ince, Bruce et al. Almost as funny as the Blackadder weekend just gone.
If you sacked off Sky and downloaded Kodi, every weekend could be a Blackadder weekend. But that's another story.
What utter garbage ^^^^^ this. But as funny as hell. Only people like you think that the club is run like simpletons. Not until 6pm on the 1st September will we know - on paper at least - who has had a good transfer window. For now it is a hissy fitters paradise.
