Cardiff dont want him so we'd get him for £2m if not less. He's still got it as proven by his good tally when in a relegation scrap at Bolton last season and I just dont udnerstand why us or indeed nobody else has signed him. He'll be on good wages but surely not more than £30k and with a low fee it makes financial as well as football sense.
That's ok then. He'll fit right in here, we're masters at playing people out of position. Maybe he fancies a shot in goal?
I think we should have gone for him already, £1.5m would probably be enough and we're definitely going to be signing some strikers. Rhodes fee hasn't changed, he's got years to run on his deal and Blackburn still want well over £12m, Palace are looking at bidding £15m, Swansea, Southampton and Everton are all rumoured to also be interested.
I think I'm going to leave this board. I think Bruce is a bellend so I'm going to follow in the footsteps of Paul and Steve, who also think Bruce is a bellend, and go join Reading. So here's a transfer rumour - Bob to Reading on a FAT.
Indeed. At least @ Reading(if that is where he ends up) he will get to play each week (when available) whereas here I dont think he would once Snods and Diame are fit. Good Luck to Quinn-iesta. We have had 3 good years out of him but our midfield options are pretty good still atm.
Guess it depends on what you view as good business. !!!! Many said the same thing about us last september.
Diame, Snodgrass and Huddlestone are currently injured and will not be back in time for the start of pre-season, Livermore is banned, so our only available central midfield option is Meyler. I'm not sure what formation you think we'll start pre-season with, but I'd say our central midfield options are nowhere near good atm.
Dont see any club paying that for Rhodes. However, only Middlesboro in the championship have any chance of landing him. Assuming Steve Gibson feels like splashing some cash. The Boro need to replace Bamford though. Dont see Norwich paying big transfer fees either. Maybre we could offer Hernandez for McCormack. Like for like. Wonga wise at least ? Now now. It's not that bad.
Why do people keep saying this? Its as if a player will only ever sign for a club where there's a family member employed. If anyone offered £12m and 40k a week for 3 years he'll sign whether his great grandma works for them or not.
I never said atm. QUINN is hardly likely to stay just until better players are fit again. Hope that helps.
