Where is the store actually going? Do we know?

That's Entertainment is empty. I think there's one opposite Boots (near CEX) that may also be? And isn't there one near the milkshake shop too?

The old That's Entertainment unit is opening as PEP&Co. a new highstreet chain of discount fashion and homeware retailers launched by the old chief exec of Asda.

Fair enough. I remember it was Sports Direct with an upstairs (or Soccer Sports).

Any idea where the city shop is going ?

I've had this username for years.. if I undergo a name change, I might become more visible in Thailand though..

There's nothing wrong with your username. We shouldn't be put off using the word Tiger, just because of what Allam is wanting to do. "The Tigers" is our proud nickname and it's a shame it does seem to be avoided now by lots of fans in general talk, chanting, etc. We used to chant "The Tigers" clap, clap, clap, repetitively but this is no longer used, which is a shame. I still tell the wife "I'm off to see the Targus".

Typical attitude from most shop workers sadly.
When I find one that is engaging I am taken aback.
They would have looked after you better if you text them or faeces book messaged them.

Tesco Express on King Edward street. There's a girl on the checkout most lunchtimes, she's a delight! Think she's called Jess.

The new shop is next door to that Gourmet Burger place.

So it's in the former Santander, next to the car park exit?

Quite a decent location for visibility from Ferensway. Not the greatest for footfall (but it'll still be a million time more than in Princes Quay!), but it's also directly across the road from St.Stephen's so not massively out of the way either.

I ****in' know who you mean.

Always asks me how my week was when I go in on a Friday to get some booze. She managed to make even me talkative.

I thought I'd had that special moment with her, but now it turns out she's bubbly with everyone...

Nice lass.

So it's not even in the Prospect Centre, it's on Brook St?

That's a very secondary position, I wouldn't take a unit down there on a rent-free.

She asked me if I was OK yesterday while I was typing my pin number. I looked up confused, wondering if I'd done something wrong. She was just being friendly, but it completely threw me even though she's served me before and been similarly talkative.

Yeah Early Learning Centre is the one I meant as "opposite Boots, near CEX".

But often not as well. You see loads with them

Anyway, back to the main point - why the frig do Hull people pronounce double s?
its not so much a pronunciation anomaly though is it , take Whitefriargate "whitefiggat" thats about pronunciation - Princess instead on Prince's would more suggest a misreading - but i bet those that say princess wouldn't spell it princess .
My point is it isnt accent / dialect that makes it Princess , just weird .

All said i always say Prinny anyhow ;)

I just walked through, it's actually the one next to the old Early Learning centre, quite a small unit.

I'm afraid I can't remember what used to be in it.
