Love the bit about 'Hull City Tigers' being a community club, and this is only going to strengthen the bond between club and fans even further.
It would be an improvement if it replaced the recently emptied That's Entertainment unit, as that is substantially bigger than the Prinny Quay one. I expect it to be the one that pops up at Xmas as a temporary Thorntons though, and that's small. Doesn't matter in the end, as it will only be filled with Hull Tigers filth.
Ye its sad about Prinny Quay. What was the name of the bloke who was the manager of it? I remember talking to him once and he was so enthusiasticand proud of it. He was always walking around introducing himself and talking to shoppers.
Mike killoran i think they called him who used manage princes quay.was in prospect today they was fitting out the new shop
No And I'm someone who has regularly bought shirts, scarves and hats from them over the years.. although I've never bought a flask..
Where is the store actually going? Do we know? That's Entertainment is empty. I think there's one opposite Boots (near CEX) that may also be? And isn't there one near the milkshake shop too?
Princess Quay is becoming more of an entertainment hub than a shopping centre - a cinema, bowling, laser quest, hairdressers, restaurants and an art gallery on the third floor. They should move the remaining shops out the main part of the store and just have the shops along the entrances like Primark, etc.
Went in to KC shop this morning. Doing a roaring trade. Only spoilt by the listless disinterested staff. Chazz: Do you have this in a larger size? Staff: (No eye contact, trying to walk away) I dunno no. Chazz: Why dont you know? Staff: (turning to walk away) S'onny what we got out srryy, and walked away to lounge at the counter with his two bored co-workers. Young lad and his Dad nearby: theres another rack over there, there may be some more there. There was thanks young sir.
Typical attitude from most shop workers sadly. When I find one that is engaging I am taken aback. They would have looked after you better if you text them or faeces book messaged them.
Im not defending their attitude but I'm not surprised - there's never any customers in there to keep them busy.
