Absolutely no way Chelsea are interested in Robertson. He's a good player but he's nowhere near good enough defensively.
Makes sense in a way, he played pretty well against Chelsea, and that tends to draw a club's attention.
I really don't see why we should be giving our key assets away cheap. Robertson isn't worth £30m but eventually he may be worth somewhere close. RE strikers, you don't necessarily have to spend a fortune. Look at Norwich, bought Jerome who scored 20 for them and only cost £1.5m-ish. I'd be more than happy to see us bring in Frazier Campbell/Dwight Gayle and Carlton Cole on a free. Frazier would cost sod all and Gayle would probably be a loan. Ideally, we'd all love Rhodes/Gray/Gestede/Martin, but I doubt we can afford them.
Been a while since I saw a King Fut article, but apparently Elmo is interesting Everton and Villa, but will turn down a move from any Egyptian Premier League side. http://www.kingfut.com/2015/06/05/ahmed-elmohamady-i-wont-play-egypt-no-matter/?
He'll buy our whole starting 11 from last season, have them playing out of their skins and finish in the top 10 next season
If he pays the right price he can have them all. With the money coming in we could get some good replacements.
Alas Tickles if a goodly offer comes in for any of our players we`ll consider it, we had no intention of selling LONG until an offer was made which appeared at the time too good to turn down, young Robbo will be no difference I`m afraid
If they want to pay £15m for Brady, take it, that is silly money. Put Robertson at left wing back and buy a couple of strikers.
So we want 45 million for Robertson and Brady? Only need to sell Chester and Jelly and we will be able to afford Messi.
Swap him for hooper and a bit of cash or vanwolfswinkel and a lot of cash Robertson in a lb or lwb Sounds like a good deal
I cant see anyone leaving unless someone is stupid enough to meet our crazy valuations. I actually think Elmo leaving would be a blessing in disguise. Him and Thudd appear to have forced Bruce's hand into persevering with 352, which I think would be a bad move when back in the Championship. With an attacking enough line up I think we can finish in the top two.
