Any news about Victor....wasn't he sounding off a few weeks back and got himself sent to the naughty step for his troubles. Presumably he's been told that he isn't going anywhere.
Just saw that n thought of suggesting it, but on reflection I reckon at his age now and his style of play anyway, wouldn't be as upto speed in the league as he once was - probably not worth the wages he would no doubt command. Apparently AFCB are interested though.
If a team can put a couple of players around him to do the leg work, he is still very much a match winner

He bossed Arsenal in the Champions League first leg this season. He's still got it. I'd expect his wages are far too much though
Actually, he's not been great but Sir Alex Ferguson made him the mainstay of his midfield. He had a few good games for Emgland too. He's like a young Steven Davis. Better than most people think, does a lot of unseen stuff and couldn't finish a ****.
Not excited by him, but if he came he'd fit in really well. Remember that young lad we had that never scored but was the source of lots of debates? Great little passer of the ball; won it, kept it simple, never set the stage alight but a Corking midfielder?

Yeah Cleverley really isn't as bad as people like to make out, not exactly a world beater but on a free transfer wouldn't be terrible. Got a couple of mates who are Villa ST holders and they've said he has been really good the last 3 months or so (since Sherwood took over basically). Wouldn't be my first choice but wouldn't be going mental about it if it did happen.
