If Everton beat West Ham will the BBC do a top 7?

Clearly Garth Crooks was watching the Chelsea game.

"How refreshing it was to see a good old-fashioned contest between a winger and a full-back at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic and Crystal Palace's Yannick Bolasie went at it like two prize fighters slugging it out and without any interference from the referee. Sadly for Bolasie and Palace, Ivanovic won on points."

Ivanovic wasn't up against Bolasie, frankly Bolasie had a very quiet game, the Palace player was Zaha. The picture used in the article even shows Zaha <doh>

There must have been no defenders scoring this week so he just went for the Chelsea back four <doh>

I guess you put the WBA goal out your memory then <whistle>
classy finish into top corner if you ask me

Well, after you being investigated it would be rude not to point out you were found innocent <ok>

If they mentioned all clubs investigated and then found to be not guilty fair enough, but as we are the only "not guilty" club mentioned in the article I can't see the reason to give us a mention.<grr>

May I ask

Really....

Ffp breach seems serious but the fine is the only real sanction. Inter will pay thier's off europa league so who cares I suppose

It seems to me that if you are a club wanting to jump the queue you could easily lash cash at it then say mea culpa when they fine you ignore it and you'll end up at the top table anyway

They also limit the number of players in the CL squad.

The limit is still twice the number of players you can have on the pitch though <doh>

Imagine a proper sanction; "Man City you've been total ****s so now you start with 10 men and no subs"

"Any other English clubs" been found innocent?

Maybe if they do an article on clubs being found not guilty of breaking ffp they'll mention all those that have broken the rule.<whistle>

No. Three English clubs have been investigated - City, Hull and Liverpool, City and Hull were penalised, Liverpool were found not to have broken the rules.

So the BBC mentioned all three clubs to have been investigated, not sure where the [HASHTAG]#bias[/HASHTAG] is supposed to have come from?!?

Mourinho compliments Gerrard but they have to end the article on a negative note

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32662464

Seems like they end the article on a balanced note - mentioning Gerrard's greatest moment against Chelsea in 2005 and arguably his worst moment last year.

I suppose it would have been more balanced if you'd beaten Villa and they could have waxed lyrical about the Gerrard Final on the 30th...
