Please let's stick to facts - Of the 1477 members, 555 voted against the proposed name change, 922 either voted in favour or where not interested enough in the issue to bother to vote. It's my understanding that 555 is not a majority of 1477.

Unless you've asked them all, that's an unsubstantiated opinion, not a fact.

Is that you Mr Allam? those who didn't vote don't count. Of those 1477 members 555 voted no, how many voted yes?

That's what I love about this Forum - the ability to make posts without receiving just abuse in reply!!
As a point of fact (but why let facts ruin an argument eh?) the vast majority of the HCOSC didn't vote at all because, like me, they don't consider this name change proposal to be that important. A vocal minority see it as a big issue - I don't have a problem with that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But most of us are bored to death with the issue!

The people within the OSC could hardly have a fair vote anyway as the existence of the OSC depends on the acceptance of Hull City. The OSC relies on the goodwill of Hull City to make themselves viable....how many would remain members without the discount in the club shop, or events where Hull City sent along players for guest appearances at events, and despite all this 555 still voted against the change

Total number of votes received = 932

Members who voted YES = 377 (40.5%)

Members who voted NO = 555 (59.5%)

That's a majority of votes against a name change. Fact.

"the vast majority of the HCOSC didn't vote at all because,"

This is complete bullshit & bollocks. Turnout for the HCOSC poll was 63%, argument lost, inaccurate facts, but I'll humour you further.

Despite him stating earlier in the fiasco that "there is no need for a referendum" he bowed to pressure from the FA, after the Membership Committee recommended rejecting his arrogant, petulant & highly unprofessionally presented request, & offered to ballot 15033 season ticket holders. Captain Ehab stated quite clearly that "it'll be single issue, really" They rallied the "silent majority" pleading with them to come out & show their support of the Chairman & produced a poll that was loaded with "unimpressive questions" that weren't "single issue really"

Of the club's 15,033 season card holders, 5,874 responded, with 792 voting they were "not too concerned and will continue to support the club either way". The "unconvincing results" of his own poll was a massive slap in the "old geezer tits" for the great man. 12468 out of 15033 eligible to vote chose not to support the name change or the old **** himself, despite him begging them to do so. Ouch!!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But most of us are bored to death with the PLWs offering nothing but bullshit & bollocks as way of supporting a nasty **** of a man in the hope that Rooney, Aguerro et al will be appearing at a Stadium near them next season. ****s.!
