I've been doing a great deal of reading recently regarding the situation in Syria and Iraq since the creation of a Caliphate and ISIS - its has been reported today that the 3 young London girls that fled to Turkey are now in Syria and have joined the 'Jihadist movement'.
One question that troubles me should we (The Government) actually stop (withdraw passports for example) of Muslims that wish to travel to Syria to join up with the Islamic State? and especially so with three (possibly) indoctrinated and impressionable young girls?
Personally I believe if anyone wishes to travel join ISIS then they should be allowed to do so- with the condition they give up their rights to able to return back here.
I'm not a religious person -but I like to think I respect the rights of anyone to practise their faith as long as it does not affect me -albeit the conundrum is now this Caliphate and it's extreme religious/political ideology being practised in Syria that can in effect eventually become a world wide phenomenon - that ultimately can affect me and what I consider my human rights to believe what I that wish to be simply 'Agnostic'.
This thought provoking blog/ article (its a long read but worth it) goes a long way to explain 'What Isis Really Wants'
