Having just seen the highlights, the 2-0 result seems very kind on Arsenal. The Gardos yellow was the right decision.

I though that Wenger looked even more gaunt than usual sitting in the dugout.
Curious to see the possession stats. This is about the third time that the percentages shown appear to be different fro my perception of what I have seen at St. Marys.

Can't find the link now, but it said that Mane had aggravated a previous injury, may explain his erratic performances recently if there something ongoing. Hopefully curable with the right care if true?

Er.....JWP made Crooks team of the week but not Wanyama? Forster also in team of the week.

I felt JWP missed too many chances today. He is a player you seems to get better when he performs regularly and I think his corners add a new threat to our game. That said, the corners were a bit disappointing today with too many seeming to be played short. No one really played poorly today but Wanyama was imperious all match, especially as he had to be careful after picking up an early yellow card. I would agree with Forster's performance.

He played well, but no better than Steven Davis and most certainly Victor Wanyama. He's getting himself into excellent positions, while arriving late into the box, but he's got to learn to finish them. The first one was a great save, but the other two should have been on target at least.

MOTD managed to get their appraisal of Saints down to 10 seconds this evening.

We won't go away, will we Gary..! :D

It might be paranoia or over sensitivity but it definitely has seemed like the media have been stubbornly trying to ignore us over the last week or so since we beat Everton. especially notable on the radio phone ins that seem to be trying g to pretentious we don't exist up until today (where more was still placed on arsenal being poor than us being too good for them)

Well if we finish in the Champions League position this season at least that will stop.

Personally, I think 4th is going to be a battle between you and us, this season.

Watched the game on Match Choice. There were periods of Arsenal dominance, but we spurned some superb chances...could have been made to pay. Forster had a great game, two saves in particular. Mane's goal was superb...scored when Arsenal must have thought they'd pushed him safely away. Why the goalie kicked the ball to Tadic, when he had 2 Arsenal players shielding him, only he could say. He had previously made 2 good saves with his feet...perhaps it went to his head. Good result. Koeman is nothing short of a genius and so are the team that got this team together.

Simply that the Arsenal defender had killed the ball for Szczesny to pick it up or clear, but the keeper was unbalanced and he was completely unprepared to do so. With two defenders standing there like zombies, Szczesny could do nothing but kick the ball out of the danger area because he feared a Saints player would pounce. Unluckily for him he found the Saints player with the deftest touch. Tadic killed the clearance and poked the ball home. Personally, I don't heap all the blame on the Arsenal keeper. He was put in that position by his defenders bad practice and slow thinking. Arsenal are in real trouble defensively, and it has been building for at least a couple of seasons. The person who should take all the blame is Wenger.

However, how much do I care..? Guess..!
