I thought Oxo was pushed out by his Dads influence, (wasn't he a skate?) to move. Chambers had been tapped up by Arsene Wenger two years previously, he must have seen something that we missed?
I should think so, too - FLT! I read your remark with the same feelings as Fran - lucky I couldn't get to you with the ceremonial sword!!
Well that little BTW about Chambers generated some chat. I agree with Beefy here about Lovren and Lallana [still a tw@tbeard], not forgetting Pochipoo. The loudest booing is going to be reserved for them. I suspect it'll be that loud as to be embarrassing and will affect the game. Again, I remind pepys that I don't advocate booing, but how does a crowd express its displeasure otherwise..? Booing is a violence free way of doing it. It's not as if 30,000 people can walk up the the individuals concerned and invite to sit in a pub after the match, over a quiet drink, to explain their motivation for leaving, is it..? So they show their displeasure instead.
Ian Thumwood: I expect that the treatment of Lambert, if we see him down St. Marys, will be a marked contrast. Rickie was cheered at Anfield and he expressed surprise that Lovren was getting stick. Not the same situation at all...Rickie gave us a lot and was unlikely to be a starter here (would have been worse if he had gone to WHU). Lovren played for us briefly and then dissed us...the fans will be rabid dogs.
I think what Ian meant by 'marked contrast' was that Rickie wouldn't be booed, unlike his Liverpool teammates Lovren and Lallana.

Except that Sanchez wasn't the only class player on the pitch. There were eleven playing for his opposition.
