<peacedove> I do not think any other teams are going to be in the top two apart from
Chelsea and Man City.
The battle for 3rd and 4th are among these clubs:

1. Manchester United
2. Arsenal
3. Tottenham
4. Liverpool
5. Everton

Among these clubs who are going to make the Champion League at the end of the season?

Arsenal and United for me.

Arsenal because Wenger knows what he's doing.

United have the firepower to win games even when playing poorly.

Agree with this to be honest.
Though I would only go so far as to say Wenger knows what he is doing when it comes to finishing 4th.
He might have used to know how to win trophies, but not any more.

Agree 100% with United though, they have bags of goals in them, but will concede a lot, but more often than not will outscore the opposition (reminds me of another team from last season)

well at the moment I think it's arrogant to assume that Arsenal or us will finish 4th. Both of us have been rank and have already gifted 3rd to United.

For me it looks like city will win, then Chelsea second, United third. then a huge mosh pit for 4th and below.

We won't get 4th though, not now. Which is why I hope BR gears us up to rape in the EL and win it (which also is a long shot).

At the moment there are only 2 clubs competing for the title and either Chelsea or City could win it. After that there is no team that can assume a place in the top 4.

Should we be ignoring West Ham and Southampton?

Personally I dont think they have the squad depth to keep this up, but they are currently very well placed.

With our next 5 fixtures we should really be making some ground up on the top 4.

Burnley, Swansea, Leicester, Sunderland & Aston Villa. You'd hope for close to max points with that fixture list.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 though, unless there's a small miracle on the training ground or in January and we manage to hit the same type of run as we did last season.

Ignore? No, that's arrogant and disrespectful.

However, we can have the opinion that they'll slide down the table as we get towards the important end of the season.

Anyhow, they're not being ignored as they keep getting mentioned :)

Anything less than 14pts isn't good enough :)
