Top two settled what about 3rd and fourth???

a few extra goals might make it an awesome run... so far its just been "good"

 

we're the form team in the league. That's better than good imo. We stay there, we probably get 3rd.

 

To finish 3rd difficult not impossible- we need to get result from both Arsenal and Chelsea and win all our remaining games.

 

no lads... its good... but its not awesome... strive for perfection!

that doesn't mean just winning but blowing these samll sides out of the water.

city great result.. convincing? nah they left huge space for lallana and coutinho to play in but we got lucky with goals... the reality is every bloody lesser side in FA cup is setting up to deny space and we are not scoring.

Our away from is better than at home. but its defence with clean sheets thats creating wins not scoring

when we open up and win 3 and 4-0 (lets start with mancs eh) then you can say we're awesome.

good = satisfactory. awesome is awesome and unlike the song everything is not awesome.


reality is we need probably 70 points but maybe 76 points is what we really want. thats another 8 wins away... 8/10 wins?

 

It's such a shame that we started off so poorly. This is one of the poorest seasons I can remember and really could have been challenging for the title again.

(Yes, my comment does factor in the fact that we lost our best player last season)

 

We needed to increase our squad depth but now that's mostly done hopefully next season will be just a few top quality players and the squad adjustment time will be shorter

Injuries are unlikely to have such a big impact #nojinx and the deadwood should be sorted

TBH I can't see how next season won't be our season

 

The beginning of the season was dire. At least we have balance in the team not.....just have to get that swagger back into the team and start next season on the front foot and the title's in the bag

 

I'm not sure what the points difference was when this thread was started back in December,but Citeh need to watch their backs.
There is still 30 pts. to be won or lost for all top four contenders,maybe,just maybe,its not only about 3rd or 4th.

I think it's time to look at this again. Looks like 2nd, 3rd and 4th is still not sewn up.
