Did he also tweet, then after two hours of running around a football field I'm off to the Bank to pick up my £25k a week wages ? (It's probably more then that too)

spot on - at least we saw some real exciting talent signed by Brownie with JJ Okotcha, Geovani, Bullard, Frazer Campbell and im sure i ve missed some out - I struggle to name any in the same mould signed by Brucie

If you're going to name Bullard then I'll raise you a Ben Arfa, hugely exciting talent that was wasted here. How about Andy Robertson? Brady? Hernandez? Quinn?

McShane is a nice lad but he's being left out because there are far better players than him in our squad.

    That's all.

He should move on if he wants to carry on playing full time, I'm sure there's a mid table championship team that would take him. Otherwise I'm fairly sure he'll be happy to play for our U21s and carry on drawing the sort of wage no one on here will ever see in their lifetimes.

Mcshane has been quite canny here, he's used social media to highlight an internal issue and his - and supposedly others - unhappiness ahead of the upcoming transfer window. However the actual content of his tweet is entirely professional. How can he possibly be fined or bollocked for saying he needs to get some sleep ahead of training?

    He's not daft.

    Bollocks, Happy Tiger.

McShane (and others) have had frequent opportunity to play when better players were not available; instead we go to formation changes to accommodate his (Bruce) chosen ones and that has inflicted a side-effect of a confused midfield and attacking players who can't attack as they have no foil - a foil Bruce knew was essential when he signed them.

We agree he should move on, as should others who are being played incorrectly.

Your cynical comment about his wages is just that cynical. Any of us would be more than happy to draw his wages, but why is he in conflict when it would be easier to sit in the background of easy street and do as you claim? He cares about how he earns his money, he wants to play football and earn his wages, whereas you simply take a jaundiced view of him because that's what you do. <ok>

He's had alleged/reported bust ups with

    1. Sheff United board
    2. Huddersfield Town board
    3. Crystal Palace board
    4. Kenny Cunningham
    5. Birmingham board
    6. Robbie Savage
    7. Mark Bowen
    8. Amr Zaki
    9. Paul Scharner
    10. Marcos Angeleri
    11. Kenwyne Jones
    12. Anton Ferdinand
    13. Kieran Richardson
    14. Hatem Ben Arfa
    15. Paul McShane

    That's quite a list.

Hmm, not really. Any manager who has been in the game as long has an equally long list.

There are many higher valued, better paid, better footballers sitting on the bench or in the stands. Its called being part of the squad. If he really has such high morals and wants to earn his money by playing football every week he should go and tell the manager he wants out. He can then drop down to the championship, play every game and more than likely get payed less. But be happy in the fact he's playing football.

You know that with your seven minutes of research? That's some quick cramming fella :p. The fact you say 'any manager' and 'equally long list' shows you put all managers on the same level of temperament and tolerance which is utterly absurd and inconceivable. I'm sure some have a shorter list and some have a longer one. Think about what you're saying fella. Daft post.

I think any manager who has managed as many games as Bruce has a list as long or longer. Without a doubt. Also you can hardly say he's had a falling out with Ben Arfa and blame Bruce for that, when it was quite obviously a move that just plain and simple didn't work out for either party.

I was going to quote ABH but we never saw what he was capable of so it may have been unfair to mention him- except for Robertson who hasn't yet achieved 'greatness ' but is definitely a real talent and a real find - the others Im afraid are not in the same league as the others - how can you possibly quote Henandez, we've never seen him hardly- I remember watching JJ play for us away at Wolves - he was unbelievable - he danced around most of the Wolves players all night - the whole stadium applauded him when he went off - you seem to forget that we did actually get some play time out of Bullard - and he was excellent unfortunately we got a load of **** as well - Geo goes without saying - I accept it was in fit and starts sometimes but when he was on his game he really was world class - so the reality is, Brucie has not yet attracted any world class flair players compared to Brownie

Even if all of those were accurate, it's less than one a year while he's been a manager, I'd expect every manager to fall out with someone at least once during a season.

You mean like they stood and applauded when Hudd came off against Fulham?

Snodgrass, Ramirez, Ben Arfa, Ince, Hernandez, all brought in in this off-season as attacking flair players.

They being the crowd as a collective.

For what it's worth I was at that game and I stood when WE applauded him.
