CTWD members have already voted to become a trust, so it will become one, but as it has to have a new constitution and membership rules, existing CTWD members(and new members) will have to agree to join, buy a share in the trust, pay an annual membership fee(both are very small) and re-vote in the committee(or replace it). Existing memberships for CTWD will expire at that point and new membership cards will be issued. Next week CTWD will publish some FAQ's addressing all these sort of issues.
I suspect one of our owners knows far more about what's posted on here than the other, so no, Assem probably isn't aware.
I don't mind Ehab, he seems like a decent chap who's been thrown in the ocean and left to sink or swim. I have copied a few pertinent ones, but I would have thought you would have followed this thread in detail, I don't believe you have - that smacks of lip-service and disrespect. OLM - why do you seem to think you need to explain to me about the need to allow for the evolution process of CTWD from campaign group to trust? You have responded and been involved in conversations on this and other threads where I have explained and defended that point. AlRawdah - read the ****ing posts and stop talking condescending bull**** - it takes a bit to make me swear, but bloody hell . . . There were decent conversations going on and then DMD started one of his usual posts of attrition; to be fair to him it seems he had at least a part of a point. I hope I have successfully highlighted Wade Wilson's final paragraph, because it embodies everything I hold dear to what we, the supporters, should be - honest. I would like to thank him for that, as it pulled away the veils of half-truths and nonsense that you are all very clearly involved in. I think AlRawdah said something about me having an issue from the past - he's right, I have detested the lies, half truths and manipulations of our club to it's supporters - let's just say these shenanigans of CTWD impress not at all. First rule if you wish to manipulate and mask the facts, do it in the background, do it quickly and don't try and be something you are not - in this case genuine to your membership. Very disappointed, but not too surprised; the closer you get to Modor, the more Precious you become.
