Diaby? I doubt it, he'll come off after 45 or 60 I reckon.

Diaby needs to take a long break form competetive football and use that time to build his fitness properly. In the last couple of years he hasn't played more than 10 matches, he's constantly injured. So how could his body sustain the efforts of professional football if he hasn't trained properly for years? I can't understand how. It's no wonder he gets injured immediately. He needs to take time to accustom his body to enormous efforts of competetive football. He can't just heal his injury and play after two weeks. His body can't possible be ready, it's not a sunday league game, he needs to be at the peak of his physical powers.

If Diaby is playing next to Wilshere then you'll be able to cut through our midfield at will. No defensive quality there at all.

This time around his recovery has been purposely slow and allowed for a lot of fitness training.

There were reports a while back that it was a problem with the muscles having developed differently in each leg leading to niggling problems that inevitably ended in proper injuries. It was the leg break that really ****ed him over though I think.

He is obviously very determined to be a success and keep playing football though. He works so hard to recover and is always optimistic. His interviews should be an inspiration to other players who struggle with injury problems.

I'm really pleased for him that he is fit again and is getting a chance to play his way into the team.

If they both play they will share defensive responsibility I'd imagine. They will need to put in energetic performances for it to work. Which is why I expect diaby to make way at some point.

Maybe Diaby should put an alcohol soaked piece of cheese on his injured bits ?
