Gutted I'm not going to this one, espescially how affordable it was, haven't been away for years. But seeing as my partner is 9days overdue with our first son, just a case of bad timingI'll probably be on here.
hey... party time. Me, you and Fran

That's it...Saints Shirt on and getting ready to set off down to Arsenal (I live in Northampton before anyone starts taking the Mikey)....Buzzing for a win!!!!
COYRs

My comments are based on that team but with akpom instead of Alexis (a team I saw somewhere)
That defence, plus diaby has got to be concerning for arsenal
Fabulous player. I'd say he is more Viera-lite than Wanyama-lite.
Only problem is that he has taken Darren Anderton's title.
Yeah Viera-lite is quite a good way to describe him lol
First son? He'll be trying to get out to see the match surely? Tell her to push for Saints!
I'd like to see him come back strongly after tonight for a couple of reasons:
1. You need that position sorted so you can really challenge and I'd like to see you challenging properly against City and Chelsea as it keeps United and Liverpool further back.
2. If he comes back strong and stays injury free this season, you won't need to sign Schneiderlin, who is perfect for you (though could probably play even higher tha you guys).
Saints fans are far too pessimistic wanting Arsenal to be stronger to fend off City and Chelsea. Believe. We want Arsenal to do badly so we can retain a CL place by the end of the season.

wanna date? Wife's away, we could ... you know... exchange posts together over an internet drink :emoticon
Got any crisps?
Has anyone seen how arrogant some arsenal fans are about this game
.
They are suggesting a side that has a defence of chambers , two youth team players with 2 games between them and a midfielder at left back. Supported by a striker who has never scored a league goal and a midfielder playing his first game in months. And they reckon it will be a walk over for them...

Mmm, you allowed those and a glass of wine?
BTW, the kids have some of those new walkers dodgy flavoured things... Racoon flavor or something.
Tonight is their choice for dinner, so it is fish fingers and home made chips with peas. I made a "dad" style frown, then secretly fist pumped!

Coquelin has played LB for us before but it isn't his natural position. Hayden has done well when I've seen him but he hasn't had enough of a chance to properly judge. Slightly concerned with those two.
Chambers has done really well for us at CB for us so far and I'm confident he has the ability to play there, but so far has had an experienced head next to him for guidance. It'll be interesting to see how he does without that influence. He's the one I'm most confident about along the back four.
Bellerin looks good going forward, he's very very quick and the ex barca youth player did well against Dortmund last week. He is a little suspect positionaly and doesn't look like he always gets back when he needs to. I think he will do well, not overly concerned by him being in the team.
Overall it's a very young back line so they will need to really perform, they need to concentrate and not lose there shape, keep it simple.
As for Diaby I think most of us are excited to see him in the team. He's quality. He's had his injury issues but he tends to come back to form very quickly, not particularly concerned with him in the team, mainly happy for him.
As for the rest of the team, the gk is fine and so are the midfield and attack, should cause plenty of problems. I have this down as a high scoring game.
Interesting and detailed analysis. The concern with Diaby has got to be whether he is up to the pace. He obviously has the quality otherwise Arsenal wouldn't have kept him on.
