Has anyone seen how arrogant some arsenal fans are about this game

They are suggesting a side that has a defence of chambers , two youth team players with 2 games between them and a midfielder at left back. Supported by a striker who has never scored a league goal and a midfielder playing his first game in months. And they reckon it will be a walk over for them...
 
tbf Greg their reserve sides have done pretty well in this comp in the last few seasons so it certainly wont be easy for either team. We should be too strong though if Ron plays our best 11.
 
Their reserves usually have. But equally they usually have a more solid defence (on paper)

Time will tell of course depending on who is played. I have even seen rumours that Alexis might play

The team that has been posted by a journalist as our likely line-up along with wengers comments in his pre-match press conference, suggests we will play:

------------------ospina-----------------
Bellerin--chambers--Hayden--coquelin
-----------wilshere----diaby----------
Campbell--------rosicky-------podolski
------------------Sanchez-----------

Though any of Campbell, podolski or Sanchez could be playing centrally or wide.

We are also likely to have at least two youth players on the bench in Akpom and ajeyi (not sure if it's an e or an a in his name..). Don't know who else is likely to be on the bench.
 
My comments are based on that team but with akpom instead of Alexis (a team I saw somewhere)

That defence, plus diaby has got to be concerning for arsenal

A fit diaby is one of the best CMs in the league. He's just injured all the time! As soon as he is fit he gets called straight back into the France team and into our team. If he could get over his injury problems he could really show what he is capable of. It's a shame he never stays injury free for long enough for others to notice how good he is.

Fabulous player. I'd say he is more Viera-lite than Wanyama-lite.

Only problem is that he has taken Darren Anderton's title.
