Even now you suggest that the referendum which you acknowledge to be unique in some way portends how Scots will behave in future elections. They will return to their normal apathy. Salmond will get shunted out at the next election. Labour see this as the perfect opportunity to create a socialist state. That is what the code for a new era in politics actually means. They lost England when the LAbour Party there grew up and realised that Benn, Kinnock, Foot politics had been crushed but see Scotland as fertile soil. The SNP will have lost its raison d'etre once they have won so will see support drift back to Labour. I feel for anyone in Scotland who wants to earn decent money to have a good life for their family - it will all be taxed away to pay for freeloaders. We rejected that here in 1979. Oh and their added bonus they get CND too. Scotland will hide under a nuclear umbrella that someone else will pay for - but that is what Socialism is about

I have stayed out of this so far, but.... As a proud anglo-Scot and an even prouder British citizen, I would urge all the residents of the great country of Scotland to think long and hard before casting your vote on this historic day.
