Nads what you reckon to Richards going to your 2nd club? Personally I have no idea why any black players go to Italy but I think he'll do ok, hopefully he'll get back to his best out there.
If Sunderland are going to strengthen their defence today, then it seems that Micah Richards will not be part of it. The Manchester City defender had been strongly linked with a deadline day loan move to the north east, but reports today appear to be pretty clear that he is instead headed for Fiorentina. It's a story that Sky Sports News are also reporting, claiming that it is the player's wage demands - believed to be around the £65k p/w mark, that has put off interest from Premier League clubs, which sounds a bit odd considering Serie A is not exactly renowned for its earning potential compared to England. Ah well, another off the list. Right now it's looking very likely that Sebastian Coates is the preferred target.
Top signing for Fiorentina mate, he will be an absolute rock in Italy, seriously, the strikers over there are not physical at all, and he will mop them up for fun. Fiorentina should be waltzing to 3rd, and CL football, this season, got absolutely bossed by Roma first game, but Roma will probably beat Juve this year. Would have liked him at Sunderland, but he'll be better in Italy than England.
I hope you're right mate, really rated him a few years ago and he just fell off completely. A fully-fit season under his belt abroad would do him a world of good.
It was always a problem with Richard's wages ...... and Florence is a beautiful city is a beautiful part of the world tbh.

Yeah, he's had a lot of muscular things as well, so the slight increase in climate, all be it badly timed for that, might help. Possibly the most beautiful mate, if you come out of Florence and hit the strada along to Siena, but come off and drop into Siena from the back looking down on it, I swear it's the most stunning built up area on earth. They used Siena for the opening sequence of a Bond film, can't remember which, but you have to stand above that city and look at it to believe it, Florence, I don't need to say a thing, universally accepted as one of the most beautiful places on earth. One thing that let's Tuscany down for me is the food, it's still fantastic, but I actually prefer the flavours and sauces further South. Minor, minor issue. Anyone who hasn't should see Tuscany. Simple as that.
We lived in the shadow of the Alps, among the lavender fields or Provence & then on the coastline of the Riviera ......... ...... but we were stunned by Tuscany the first time we went, it was supposed to be a fortnight but we stayed for 6 weeks. Anyway, enough of that poncy ****e, it's TDD
