Id have him all day long not that I think he'll come, some of you have massive delusions of grandeur, Alex ferguson rated him as a player but he's apparently not good enough for us? Oh ye and his birds as fit as

    Alex Ferguson rated Bebe.

    He isn't this perfect god-like figure, don't use him as a be-all end-all.

I just don't see what he adds to the team, we need a defensive midfielder and/or a creative attacking midfielder and he isn't either. I don't see why you'd pay £8m for Cleverley, if you could get Diame for £4m and he offers us something different.

Isn't he on £70.000 a week no thanks. We need a creative player anyway.

Exactly my thoughts. He'd be fine if we hadn't got Jake, but we need the extra piece of the puzzle, not just another cog in the machine

I'm not convinced Cleverly would be a replacement for Snodgrass, he's more of a Livermore/Meyler type

As has been said Cleverley would merely be competition for one place in the team,,and he'd be competing with Livermore and Meyler for it. Not what we need at all, he's neither an attacking or defensive midfielder.

As for those querying why we wouldn't want either a current England international/current Man Utd midfielder, why would we?! Both teams are worse than shiote at the moment, and Cleverley has been an integral cog in that shioteness!

    Great news.

Or it would be if I wasn't pretty much certain he's Villa bound.

Yeah, I'd think he was a great signing if I thought he wasn't going to Villa.

How is life as relegation fodder?

I hardly believe you've been to Aston if you think that.

Always amazes me when people trot out ****e like this. It's as if they expect the footballers to be living in the worst council estate in the city. They'd probably live outside or at least in a very expensive area, they'll be in a cushy location regardless of which city it is. The only difference the location makes is what's nearby and sadly Birmingham does trump for that, a lot more going on in Brum than in Hull.

I'm pretty sure his decision will be based on football and money anyway rather than which stadium happens to be in the ****test area.
