Thought it was hilarious when about 70 minutes in both of them were clearly pissing themselves because it was all they could do other than crying at what they were seeing on the pitch. Pensioner pace football for a pensioner manager (sorry any pensioners reading!). Van Gaal's alright and all but he's been there, done that. They need someone managing with ambition and who wants to prove himself.

You seriously think these two will keep Neymar or Suarez out the team.

Good luck to them at that price, ridonculous sum of money for him. Absurd. They want to start getting their other players like Mata to actually start playing some football. He's been well worth the 37 million so I'm sure Di Maria will provide a similarly impressive return on the investment.

If you watched the game you will know they were laughing at a refereeing decission they couldn`t believe.

If you consider him the player you need and are willing to pay £64m and £200kpw in wages you might as well pay £75m

If it was all just a PR exercise you might think twice though

It`s the Mail, and even they are using plenty of words like "may" and "could". I will go with proper news outlets that are quoting £63.9 mil, wages, who knows? but if Rooney is supposed to be on £300 thou then £200 thou isn`t too bad for a player of his quality.

Understandable, even i went into the garden to throw the ball for the dog at two points during the game, it really was that bad
