  • Premier League

  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

  • As much as Everton and Spurs!

I said this earlier, said the idea that Di Maria is 'World Class' is not true, given that that should be reserved for players like Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Suarez, Neymar, Muller, Lahm etc. The truly best players in the game today who produce almost every game and win games almost single handed.

This concept was alittle too much for some of the Mancs.

Di Maria is perhaps the next level down, very good but too inconsistent for the World Class tag.

Handy guide:
Plays for Man Utd and not currently the subject of derogatory chants, banners or petitions = World Class
Plays for Liverpool = Not World Class
<ok>

Utd offer 60 mil, real want 90

Utd agree at 80.... Euros all of course

Suggests utd are getting nervy and know they must act and now. Next week will be interesting

Watching this Barca team and still wondering how Suarez will get into it when Nymar is back. Who do you all see losing their place to him?

And the RVP one wa also a pen apparently, despite him admitting RVP was losing the ball... oh and the guy actually got a foot on it <doh>

The Dutchman continued: 'The same I think he (the referee) can also give the penalty to Van Persie.

'You can see that Van Persie was already losing the ball but the tackle was already coming and that is the reason why he has to give the penalty or not.

'There are referees who would give a penalty but nevertheless we have to create more chances than penalties.'

Who played? I didn't see it but the world is assuming a front 3 so whoever played will be just dropped ok

Now Diego as a half sensible utd fan could you please outline the means by which you see utd playing for the next 4 months be it 433 or 532 and if you like put in new cb or new cm rather than guesses as I'd like to see if you might suggest something more than just Evans and jones

So his point is it wasn't a penalty but a poor or bent referee might have given it anyway #desperate

In fairness I thought his interview was pretty honest. The young one he did say there was contact ( which there was) but he did say young exaggerated the fall ( dive) therefore ref wouldn't give it.
The RVP one could well have been given but was in truth a decent tackle. He said nothing any other prem manager would have said.
The rest was honest, not enough created and shouldn't rely on penalties. He talks strangely and looks very strange but fair play to his inteview after.

With what we have now (no Di Maria), I would go 4-3-1-2. Raphael, Evans, Rojo, Shaw. Herrera, Carrick, Januzaj. Mata/Kagawa. Rooney, RVP. It lacks a little width but i think Shaw and Rapael can provide this, it also leaves room for changes to formation from the bench.

But really if you drop loyalty to certain players and given you've only a week left but di Maria is al but done what would you say. I think over 2/3 windows only say 4/5 will survive myself

But who would you back to keep you in touch til January and where would you buy

4312 sounds reasonably possible at this point if injuries abate but I half wonder if van gaal is looking at those full backs and shaking his head for example

Are you ****ing simple or on the Wum?

Barca started with Rafinha and El Haddadi (an 18 Barca B player)

You seriously think these two will keep Neymar or Suarez out the team.

Anyway what does it matter he's a Barca player now, their problem.

We should have more than enough to "keep us in touch". If i had my way we would buy a top class DM but that is not a surprise to anyone. I think people are underestimating what we have in the squad, there are also some very promissing youngsters coming through who need a chance so they are not stifled, Tyler Blackett, Reace James and Jessie Lingard are three obvious ones (been impressed with Blackett and James) but there are quite a few more who are ready for the challenge.
