I wonder if all the United fans that thought they were going to run away the title leaving everyone in the dust this season still think the same?

UIR?

Lets see our best side play first. With di maria on his waynwe also have herrera, rojo, rafael, shaw, carrick to come back. Will give us a far better side.

Im not worried at all right now. Huge amount of quality to come into the side.

K.. well it is early days still... so we'll see. The optimism is still there then.

I'm confident that's going to happen, we have a manager who knows how to win trophies and is a winner as well, the players we've signed as well are top quality, i expect us to sign another 3-4 in my opinion, I had this same feeling before the 2012/13 season and we won the league that season as well.

and if it just pulls out of a 1 on 1 to get a shot off and plays safe...

<whistle>

whats not worried... not worried about relegation or what <laugh>

Technically Rojo and Shaw cannot "come back" as they've never played a competitive game for Man Utd anyway <ok>

We wont win the league without a miracle but once those players who havent featured yet come into tge squad we will be a load better.

Can even see the little changes already in our play. The ****e ones are even moving about. Its well known that Manchester uniteds midfielders havent moves in 3 years. They now are. Nowhere in particular but fletcher and cleverley are poor.

Were also seeing much more of the ball. Right now its pointless as we lack the players to make the decisive move. Di maria will change that. He will give the likes of mata, herrera and carrick and option. He will improve each attacking player we have by creating space as well as chances.

Rojo, rafael l, shaw and evans will add more in defence. Might not be the very best but still some very good players there.

Herrera and carrick are so much better than cleverley and fletcher its embarrassing.

Nothing to be overly concerned about really.

And I'm not sure how Rafael & Carrick coming back into the team is a positive thing.

I'm sure they are the same two players who contributed so Ineffectively to last seasons poor showing? Or are they the new prototype?

Well what does that say about Rooney,Mata and RVP? Do you really think Di Maria will be the answer to your prayers? Just asking

At this point matching last season's performance would be a massive achievement.

Van Gaal is already 5 points behind Moyes after 2 fixtures and must now win the next 7 games in a row to catch back up

Di Maria will create chances, which ??? will put away

??? is Man Utd's £80m player yet to be found

Yes.

Hes exactly what we need. Exactly what weve missed.

We also need our other players back. Because they will make us better still.

But injuries are still likely to occur throughout the season. It's not so cut and dry.

Van Gaal also has the challenge of not only fitting all these attacking players in to the team but more importantly the formation, unless he's planning to scrap all preparation gone in to it. Di Maria is not a wing back and he's certainly not a CM.. Also from my own opinion RVP, Rooney and Mata are not the most balanced trio.. A pot of work to be done and you're already playing catch up.

Of course they will but to the same extent as it is right now? I doubt it.
