How hard is it to get tickets these days? I've had a season ticket for a while so I've not tried for a bit. But off to Uni this year so no more season ticket. However I have somehow managed to talk this girl into coming to the newcastle game with me so I really need to make sure to get good tickets.

Is it a definitely turn up as soon as they go on sale job? Or same day anytime? OR any day any time?

You should be fine, quite a few left for WBA at home.

Only just got in from work, so my summary:

- How the **** did we not win? We really deserved the win.
- Very promising displays, and with Ramirez, JRod, a fit Morgan and a new winger, I'm very confident about this season.
- Dusan Tadic. Instant legend for doing that to Lovren <laugh>
- Ryan Bertrand looks good.
- Pelle ... I'll hold judgement. Mixed game.

All in all though, very encouraging display <ok>

This is spot on. They had more of the game without ever looking that good. The spells we got on top we looked really dangerous. Prowse definitely should have shot but then it was not long after the goal and was almost identical in nature. Wanyama had his best game for us yet and the only thing he did wrong was that piss poor headed clearance. lol.

I also agree with someone earlier who said Schneiderlin looked sulky for a while. I think it was a bit of a half hearted attempt at tackling leading up to their goal. He would normally be right through the ball and man there. The addiction of football bit though and he forgot to not care and started to enjoy himself towards the end of the first half.

Did anybody see Morgans reaction when we scored? Did he seem genuinely pleased or indifferent?

I actually thought he was going to be a bit of a "see you next Tuesday", purely based on the fact he was a hard nut, take no prisoners type of player. But not at all. A really solid seeming guy lacking any discernibly unattractive traits of ego.

Just seen the extended highlights on SaintsPlayer. We scored and he ran over to the huddle of players, had his arms round them and was smiling.

Fonte and a couple of others ran over and jumped on Morgan's back then they all high-fived and clasped hands as they walked away.

Yeah, It was a bit like getting Andres Moeller. Not in terms of a manager, but a ex-international I never warmed to <whistle>. Plus every football sticker I acquired of him in my youth he, did actually seem to growl "See you nexsh Tuesday!" as he was snapped barking orders to his defense. Of course a prerequisite of such disdain is that he was a very, very good player.

Dammit, yes, I meant to look out for Morgan's reaction myself. Good to read that. Gives me an excuse to go off to Saints Player.

Just to add to a long thread, this was exactly the result I hoped for, never expected a win but what I was praying for was a solid representation and cause for optimism. Havent had chance to watch the whole game but rather than the 4-0 rout which would have killed of a lot of my enthusiasm for the season we seem to have fluffed the chances to win 4-2. Tadic's pass and Clynes finish were class! As much as I would have danced around the room to put one over the Scousers and the Saints old boys we will get another crack at Saint Mary's. Just the fact that we went there and made them struggle is enough of a middle finger. To read reports that they were lucky to win lets the boys leave with their heads held high I reckon. Plenty of cause for optimism this season!

Morgan was one of the first there :) Look of pain there from Wanyama jumping on his back...........eeek

Just watched the game again and we bossed the second half. Deserved at least a draw. With a couple more signings I'm very confident we can finish top half.

Police are investigating an assault after a woman in the home end at Leicester had to receive treatment after being struck by a snooker ball. What kind of moron does something like that...could have seriously injured or killed someone. Hope they get him and throw the book (or snooker balls) at him.
