Prossy is probably in a very comfortable financial position. City would have negotiated with his agent (taking into account what Brentford were prepared to pay him), paid up his contract (either in lump sum or agreed in instalments) and then told him **** off. Brentford will be paying him a fraction of what he was earning here but it doesn't matter to Prossy cos he's already got a big pay-off from City. Brentford are now paying all of his wages as per a new contract he would have signed with them, but they can only do this because he's already been paid off by us (either in a lump sum or instalments). So, Tickles is partly right but he's still an idiot.....
I forgot the influence his wife had on him. Even Long has said that it was for "family" reasons this move happened and he was happy here. Suarez left Liverpool for the same reason - family. If he were single then i bet Liverpool would still have him. But in this case we shall never know.
