With Prozzy and now Long going in the past week, that will leave us with £70k+ a week for wages.
Not really, we've still had to pay Proschwitz's wages, you don't seriously think Brentford are paying a player over £20k a week?

It is likely that city will be paying about 35% of his wage that he was on here and then he will get so much from Brentford.

Other way round.

I suspect that Brentford are paying all his wages.

Yes, but unfortunately, you're an idiot.
All the way to the bank....The more I think about it the less I'm keen on Welbeck.
On one hand I'm convinced he would do as well if not better than Long and also he has the "big name" signing attached to him.
But on the other I just have a feeling he wouldn't be incredibly prolific for us. Any other £10+ million striker would be a gamble anyways but I don't know, I just don't feel he's what we need. I never saw him as a finisher and we need a speedy finisher at the moment. We have Sagbo who is great at holding up and strong. Jelavic who is slow and a bit of a shoot and pray donkey and we have Aluko and Ince both speedy and skillful but lack finishing imo.
Surely the answer to that question is subjective and as you don't decide who can and can't post, I really don't give a s**t if you like to read my posts or not.
Well we seemed to be having a straight forward and positive closed season and avoided the daftness of silly season.
But now we get some exciting times with Long leaving, plenty of money made, big signing replacement to come in and still potentially 2 others like there was before Long went.
Losing Long isn't the end of the world. Losing Chester, Huddlestone, Livermore, Elmohamady or Davies would feel like it.
