The more I think about it the less I'm keen on Welbeck.

On one hand I'm convinced he would do as well if not better than Long and also he has the "big name" signing attached to him.

But on the other I just have a feeling he wouldn't be incredibly prolific for us. Any other £10+ million striker would be a gamble anyways but I don't know, I just don't feel he's what we need. I never saw him as a finisher and we need a speedy finisher at the moment. We have Sagbo who is great at holding up and strong. Jelavic who is slow and a bit of a shoot and pray donkey and we have Aluko and Ince both speedy and skillful but lack finishing imo.

Without a doubt. I also think a season long loan is more than likely. Patrick Bamford(striker) from Chelsea is another who we could get on loan and would add to what we have now.

With Prozzy and now Long going in the past week, that will leave us with £70k+ a week for wages.
