It will be about 2-3M with the vast majority of that in add ons which Blackpool probably will never see
Hull and Blackpool are trying to agree a fee between the clubs but if they can't a fee will be set by a tribunal So until one of them has happened it will be classed as a free transfer
It is a free transfer, but because of his age (I believe), Blackpool are due some compensation, the amount of which is yet to be decided.
Err, the Sturridge payments went up £0.5m for every ten appearances he made (up to 40), plus an addition £1m if he made international level (which he did) AND 15% sell-on fee. So in total, they've paid about £8.3m (although they still made £3.7m selling him to Liverpool). I can see Hull paying a similar way, and probably a similar amount - without making the same profit, obviously.

None of your 4 biggest attacking threats from last season will have any effect in the prem. Vardy and Nugent will be next to useless (as the latter has already shown). There's a reason Ings and Austin have been linked with moves to PL clubs this summer, rather than those 2. Knockaert- a flaky unproven 22 year old. Dyer- gone. Dyer's championship impact for you will be 100times that of albrighton's this season. I'm not even going to go into the rest of your team, but when Old Man Wes is your best defender...there are serious issues. Best in what way? Not as a footballing side, you were horrible to watch. You were physically strong, particularly at the back, but you hardly broke the scoring record. Wrong. How we play is what makes us confident. The 100 points were merely a result of this. Had we got 100 points playing like you did in 2011, we wouldn't be anywhere near as confident. Utter nonsense. Rather than picking one or players that might make it, it would be more realistic to pick the one or two that might not. Of course, I'm willing to bow to your superior knowledge if you saw us play more than I did last season...

Just expressing an opinion LG..! Obviously none of you are going to agree with me- because to do so would mean agreeing that you'll struggle. Bring in a few more quality operators and maybe you'll be alright. But based on your transfer window so far, it seems Nige very much believes in the 100pt hype. Who were the previous couple of 100pt'ers to be promoted? Reading + Newcastle and think. They had more effective weapons at Premier League level in their sides than you do. Admitting we might struggling isn't going to make it happen! If I thought we'd struggle, I'd say. But really, you and one or two other outsiders that keep coming here to tell us we will struggle really know nothing about us. All this smugness about how well run a club you are, and how smoothly you'll transition to the PL. Your manager has no top level experience, neither do most of your players, neither do your owners and board. Just because a player gets relegated doesn't mean he is no good it's based on a squad over 38 games to suggest a player isn't good enough because his team went down is nothing short of ridiculous .
Nugent has come a long way since he was last in the Premier League IMO. His all-round game has improved, and is no longer relied on as the "main man" to score the goals. His level of assists last season was more impressive/telling to me than anything else. He'll probably spend most of his time "in the hole", behind Vardy/Ulloa. Speaking of Vardy, please tell me how you know he will be "next to useless"? He scored some good goals for us last season (including a goal at your place, actually), and has bundles of pace which is key for the Premiership. He is one of our players who I am most looking forward to seeing in the Premier League. Yes, Dyer is gone, you are correct. But Albrighton is a good player IMO, happy with that signing on a free transfer. Our defence may need some work, I'll give you that. How well Morgan will do the next level up remains to be seen. But he was a rock in the league below, so deserves his chance. Besides, we still have another 27 days til the window slams shut, be patient... Caulker... Couldn't make the England squad when the options were SO limited, we only took 3 recognised CB's to the World Cup. His career highlight to date is captaining a Cardiff side to relegation, conceding 74 goals in the process. Faurlin.. Don't know too much about, but okay Phillips... That way then nobody could give an opinion on any side going down , people can only judge on what they have seen over a number of years , and without having a go or wumming as you say I have seen enough of your team to suggest at present in my opinion you will do well to stay up.
