Hmmm. I wonder if this was part of the deal. Innocuous injury robs him of a chance to face his old team, recovers miraculously for the next match.

I for one am very upset and concerned for him. It is such a shame.

TW injured....so sticking pins in wax images works! I shall now remodel it into Lovren, so I am ready. Just need a bit more wax for the head.

I gained a beard shortly before they came into fashion and rid myself of my beard about a month ago after I noticed that almost every yoof I saw was sporting one. I may be ahead of the curve again if a fashionista like La Lallana is now shaving.

I try to lead fashion rather than following it, so you can all expect my current choice, loon pants, to make a sudden comeback.

You live and learn. I was completely unaware that loon pants had ever gone out of fashion!

So this thread will have to be closed as the "beard" in the title thread is no longer applicable. I know plenty of people love him on this board so perhaps we can resign him for about 8m in the summer if he is surplus to Klopp's requirements. Absolutely certain he could do a good job for Saints again.

Lots of Lallana admirers here. Surely he is more loveable than John Terry or Diego Costa?

Corrected your figures for you. The shop seems to have plenty of staff, thanks. Toilets could be cleaned more regularly on match days, and that probably pays about £7 an hour not £8

Stack me. Are jokes illegal on here?!

As a life long trade unionist I also hope the staff are properly trained but, bloody hell ....
