Me too. Think Forster is a very solid keeper and would be number one ahead of Boruc. Is this the end for Gazzaniga?

Surely the sunny south coast is enough to sway him away from Glasgow. Good English keeper, Sign him up Ron!

Well I've been 'up here' for the last two days Bovril and not seen one head butt; even went for a curry :)

    He's better than Boruc.

Yeah I meant on the football parks rather than the salubrious City Centre Fats. If you're staying a while I'll buy you a pint!

I don't think we know that for certain. He might show a little fight for his first team spot or something. Who knows? I don't think we know his mindset in terms of whether he's first choice or not. He might be fine to be second choice (and eat pies). No idea. Let's wait and see.

Gazzaniga should just be a Saints model.

He won't play second choice as he wants to play for Poland in euro 16. If they can get there

To be fair, it's only the biggest clubs that seem to have two quality keepers in their squads. Boruc is very much a first team keeper and I certainly wouldn't expect him to hang around (or want to) if we signed Forster.

That it does. But I can't see that playing a large role in Boruc's decision-making process, and -- while I love him -- he's blitheringly insane. Of all the "if they're unhappy/disruptive, get rid" players, Boruc has the potential to become the most unhappy and disruptive.

He could be cool about it and just chill on the bench.

He's just now rebuilt his reputation and gotten back into serious contention for Poland's number one spot. I don't imagine he will just chill on the bench.
